Our beautiful pool has a natural shape with a length of 20 meters and a maximum width of 10 meters. In the larger part of the pool is the wading pool. It is therefore integrated into the large basin. This may sound dangerous for little children, but actually, children will be better supervised, so that fewer accidents shall happen. From your deckchair you have an impressive view on the mountains.

The splendid naturist beach on the edge of Castillon Lake does not belong to us. However, we almost dare to say that it is a private beach, especially because we do maintain its only access road. Visits to the beach for one day are allowed , you just need to show your ID card at the reception desk and pay 5 euros fee.
You will get to the beach after a naturist walk of about 20 minutes. You can choose between a small trail or a mountain path a little wider. However, flip-flops are not recommended, you should rather go with sandals or other shoes tied to the feet. You can rest there, sunbathe, do some canoeing, fishing (fishing permit required). The beach is made up of a green part with herbs and a part with small pebbles. It is convenient to bring shoes to go into water in a comfortable way and immediately enjoy the surprisingly pleasant water.
The surroundings of our campsite are beautiful and quite varied. There is a large offer for hiking, walking, mountain biking or visiting by car. The itineraries take you through the local forests, by- over the various passes, along streams and lakes. An absolute must is an excursion to Gorges du Verdon.
Adventure enthusiasts will enjoy the rugged proximity: rafting, canyoning, canoeing/kayaking on the Verdon river, an unforgettable experience! But also paragliding, bungee jumping, horseback riding and even swimming in the lake with horses are some of the possible activities.
Climb on Roc de Castellane and be faster than your parents.
Look for the huge old fossils in the forest on Col de Lèques. Have fun in a climing parktowards Gorges du Verdon.
Catch the train from Saint-André to Entrevaux to visit the Citadel.
Explore the caves near Grasse.
Take your parents to Samson Tunnel near Gorges du Verdon.
Don't forget to bring good shoes, old clothes and a flashlight!
