On our site there are two large toilet blocks which were built in 2007 and 2008. In the open family showers you can take a shower with a view of the beautiful green valley at the bottom toilet block on the azure lake! Here you will also find delicious cold outdoor showers.
Both toilet blocks have a lockable room with toilet, sink and shower and are wheelchair accessible. In addition, there is a room with large mirror and hair dryer and a separate shower to shower private if you feel more comfortable. In the central toilet block is also a children’s toilet, a baby bath and a changing table.
Besides these two major sanitary buildings, there are two small sanitary buildings, back on field 10 (2012) and by the pool in the sauna building (2007). With the exception of this last building, there’s no toilet paper. We do this deliberately, because the toilets in this way remain much neater because there is not paper “played” and there is less chance of clogging by excessive paper usage. Our third consideration is that of a financial nature. For you it is a few rolls or packs of toilet paper on your entire vacation, but for us it is a huge cost. We choose to invest this money in a nicer way to the campsite.
Chemical toilets can be emptied at the camp but only if you use green biodegradable liquid. The use of blue liquid is not allowed, because it will disrupt our biological water treatment system. You can also fill the tank of your chemical toilet with a glass of white vinegar and a generous pinch of detergent. Cheap, environmentally friendly and can be bought everywhere!
